Who We Are
Schaer Sharpening delivers quality work only or there’s no charge. We aim to make a complex, modern life simpler for busy people who wish they had a clone of themselves to get to their heavily backlogged to do list.
You have oil to change, grass to cut, kids to feed, dogs to walk (or dress up), all on top of the 9-5 which takes way more from us than we all like to admit.
I’m sure during the course of the whirlwind that is your life you’ve at least thought once that “man, these knives suck…” then switched to the least dull one in the rotation to cut that sweet potato or sourdough bread…

Our Services
Basic, regular kitchen knives that need a little TLC. If there is significant chipping or damage that needs repair, there will be an additional $5.00 charge as that takes some time to work out.
These little guys require a little more care in the sharpening so they have their own category of pricing.

If you are in a 10 mile radius of the Downtown San Diego area and you need a pick up and drop off after sharpening is complete scheduled, there will be a $5.00 charge as we know gas is absolutely unhinged right now…
After selecting this service, we will send you an email with a link to our calendar so you can select the time that works for you. Typically, we do pick-up’s on Tuesday afternoons and will arrange a custom drop off as that can be subject to whats already on the schedule.
